Skiing or boarding is now such a joy. The new infrastructure installed over the last 3 years spending over € 54m has not only rid us of those T-Bars but also buses. Opening up some of the best pistes in Europe to continous use with the latest speedy heated chairs and cable cars. There was very little queuing before but now you can travel far or just repeat the same piste until you get it right, kilometres per hour can be many. Or just enjoy some of the nicest mountain bars and restaurants at  the greatest prices ever seen. From the brandnew Restaurant on top of the Hochmais to basic farmers huts with yummy homemade produce.

Hinterthal being at the head of the valley creates a natural bowl, making and holding wonderful snow on alpine grass with the help of 310 snow making facilities. The season can run from early December to mid April.
